Sports Awards 2024
The Orange City Council Sports Awards for 2024 were conducted on Wednesday night with our very own Jack Daintith receiving an award for achievement in Running. Congratulations Jack !!!
Australian Events
Over the last couple of months some our very dedicated members have travelled to some fabulous Australian Events. Well done to all of our members taking the extra step to get their running fix at the following locations
Gold Coast Marathon – 6th-7th July
Rhonda Jones, Karen Skelton and Alicia Anlezark travelled up to competed in the Gold Coast Marathon. Karen completed the marathon, Alicia the half marathon and Rhonda backed up and completed both the half and full marathon.
Mad Max Marathon – 28th July
Sharyn Mitselburg, Sarah Passey, Catherine Player and Jennifer Lawrence competed at the Mad Max Marathon. Sharyn, Catherine and Jennifer completed the half marathon and Sarah completed the marathon.
Sydney Harbour 10km
Sydney Real Insurance 10km – 28th July
Jack Daintith, Samantha Daintith, Hugh Daintith and Paige Alexander competed at the Sydney Real Insurance 10km. Jack and Hugh completed the 10km and Samantha and Paige completed the 5km.
