Last Sunday saw 54 starters out at Stagecoach Road with another 30 plus racing the Panorama Punish in Bathurst.
At Stagecoach the various distances were highly competitive with the fastest runners being:
2km – female – Emily and Jean Meiring 12:27, Madison and Mel Bolton 20:28.
Male – Rikard Meiring 14:02, Nick Bolton 15:03 and Hayden Bolton 15:12.
3km – female – Charlote Meiring 17:34, Lyn Rummery 20:35 and Justine Tarleton 28:34.
Male – Jack Daintith 13:24, Blake Gleeson 14:14 and John Sutherland 18:02.
5km – Kelly Gleeson 25:15, Tanya Connolly 29:31 and Anne Maree Ryan 32:49.
Male – Hugh Daintith 24:35, John Connolly 27:33 and Jamie Corcoran 29:07.
8km – female – Leanne Corcoran 37:10, Bec Davis 48:27 and Annabel & Grace Hosie 52:00.
Male – Iain McLean 35:56, Noel Annett 39:32 and Michael Kennard 40:24.
12km – female – Luisa Sims 1:08:18.
Male – Nathan Sutherland 47:09, Anthony Daintith 1:00:50 and Paul Anderson 1:03:30.
Handicap winner was Madison Bolton.
At the Panarama Punish Tim Murphy was the quickest of our members finishing in 21st place overall in 25:51.
Amber Rich powered into 4th female overall and second in her age category with a time of 28:23. Ursula Wilson also picked up second place in her age after finishing in 29:56.

On Wednesday at Elephant Park with the second instalment of the Spring Junior Running Carnival 90 runners members took on the course and the clock.
In the Juniors fastest runners in each age group were:
(1 lap) 1 – 3 years Female – Madison Bolton 10:05 and Ashling Collins 11:14.
4 – 6 years female – Madeleine Mori 6:03 and Evie Harris 6:13.
Male – Tim Napier 4:44, Hayden Bolton 5:06 and Cooper Williamson 6:01.
(2 laps) 7 – 9 years female – Skye Napier 7:49, Charlotte Meiring 9:38 and Tilly Thornton 9:58.
Male – Hayden Hyde 9:01 and Harrison Jones 10:47.
(3 laps) 10 – 12 years female – Milla Jurd 12:53, Sonia Schonknecht 14:46 and Audrey Schonknecht 16:39.
Male – Blake Gleeson 11:39, Charlie Brown 11:55 and Flynn Thornton 12:36.
13 – 15 years male – Samual Gross 11:36 and Jai Anlezark 17:46
The youngsters dominated the overall results with Samual Gross and Blake Gleeson were the fastest ahead of Jack Daintith 11:46 in third spot. Milla Jurd was fastest of the ladies with Luisa Sims 13:56 and Alicia Anlezark 14:18 filling the placings.
Overall handicap winner was Nadia Adams who ran a 1m52s personal best in her time of 17:24. Others to run PB’s included Sonia Schonknecht 25s, Toby Beels 24s, Clair Gates 55s, Trevor Jones 55s, and Cameron Harris 1m18s.
The Sunday Club run is at Jack Brabham starting at 9am with 1 – 6 laps of the 1.75km course.
Also this Sunday will see members tackle the last of the regional running festivals at the Carcoar Cup, so best of luck to all competing.
ORC Presentation and Christmas Party on the 7th December at Waratahs Sports Club starting at 5:30pm
Our annual presentation and Christmas Party will be held at the Waratah Sports Club this year. As usual we will recognise the achievements of our members over the year, culminating in the presentation of the Runner of the Year and Junior Runner of the Year trophies. Enjoy a beautiful 3 course meal and a visit from Santa!
