Baldwin’s Run
Baldwin’s Run is held at Basil and Jean Baldwin’s property “Burrawang” at Forest Reefs and it’s an event that everyone looks forward to.

Directions
From Orange, take Forest Road as if you were running in the Orange Running Festival.
Just before Spring Terrace, turn right onto Orchard Road.
After about 1 km turn left into Forest Reefs Road.
Follow this to the Forest Reefs pub and intersection.
At the intersection, continue south on the Tallwood Road.
After about 1km turn left, at the first junction, into North Lane, onto a gravel road, follow this for 400m and turn right into Calvert Lane and then left into Basil’s entrance. There is a sign at the entrance saying Fourjay Farms.
Basil will place red and white orienteering flags at these points.
Park in the front paddock, where we will start the run.
Basil has a family of grebes living on one of their dams. Those interested may go very quietly to see them.
SO, PLEASE NO DOGS at this run.
Courses will be 3, 5, 8 and 11.5 km. The 3km will be on mown farm tracks, with the longer courses then going east on Wilsons Lane.

Starting from the car park area, head south on Bargwanna Road. Go over Gosling Creek and continue to rise all the way to the 3k turn point and then relatively level until about 1.9km mark, then a sharp decline and finally a gently undulating stage to the turnpoint on Buttle Road about 100m east of the intersection of Buttle Road. Return back the same way.
Starting from the car park area, head south on Bargwanna Road. Go over Gosling Creek and continue to rise all the way to the 3k turn point and then relatively level until about 1.9km mark, then a sharp decline and finally a gently undulating stage to the turnpoint on Buttle Road about 100m east of the intersection of Buttle Road. Return back the same way. Complete the 5km twice.
