EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 18th March 2023

Last Sunday’s run was at Clergate Public school, a personal favourite of mine. 82 members had a choice of 3, 5, 7.5 or km track. This course is mostly dirt with a few hills along the way. A bonus of this run was the Clergate Public school P&C committee served bacon and egg rolls and baked goods for all runners/walkers to enjoy post run.

For our usual Wednesday run 85 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps in and amongst the thunder and little rain. Top three men were Nick Irwin 11:38, Mark Thomas 11:44 and Peter Bennett 11:51. The top three women were Rhianna Hume 12:58, Isobel Curran 13:09 and Courtney Hayes 14:22.
Achievement medals were awarded to Peter Gates with 25 runs, Sally Wallace with 50 runs, George Rutledge with 200 runs, Oliver McLean with 100 runs and Angus Finlay with 50 runs.

This Sunday run is Tahs run, this run is located at Waratahs Sports ground and is a lap course. Each lap is 1.6km and members can choose from 1-6 laps of this course. We hope to see as many members as possible here.
