EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 7th October 2023

Well done to the 54 members who ran or walked our Emu Swamp Road course last Sunday.

3.2 km
Female: Isobel Curran 15:25 (NEW course record), Lacey Curran 16:22, Alicia Anlezark 19:07
Male: Lachlan Irwin 25:46, Peter Gates 28:43, Gary Taylor 29:10

4.6 km
Female: Jessica Curran 24:40, Evie Harris 26:58, Kim Roweth 27:38
Male: Mark Thomas 20:24, Nick Irwin 20:24, Roy O’Donnell 23:39

7.5 km
Female: Luisa Sims 46:20 (NEW course record), Kate Harris 51:08, Madelein Barnard 52:53

Congratulations to both Isobel Curran who set a new course record for the women’s 3.2km and Luisa
Sims who broke the women’s 7.5km course record!

31 members attended this week’s rainy Wednesday run. The top three men were Phillip Thomas
11:00, Mark Thomas 11:58, Ben Sullivan 12. The top three women was a Curran clean sweep with
Lacey 15:00, Jessica 15:01 and Isobel 16:09. Personal bests were achieved by Phillip Thomas 11:00
(13 seconds) and Lacey Curran 15:00 (2 minutes 2 seconds).

Achievement medals were awarded this week to Jessica Curran and Isobel Curran, both with 100
runs and Michael O’Mara with 300 runs.

Tomorrow’s run is at Spring Creek Dam where members can choose from 2.4km. 4.8km, 7.2km and
9.6km.

Together we achieve individual goals.
