Last Sunday 63 members attended our run at the Botanic Gardens, a picture-perfect Sunday morning was ideal for a run through the park followed by coffee and catch up.  This course was a lap course of 1.6km and members could complete 1-6 laps of the course.

The fastest in each distance were:

For our usual Wednesday run 48 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. Top three males were Jack Daintith 10:08, Maxwell Horne 11:47, Mike Cooper 13:01. The top three females were Lauren Reid 11:25, Nicola Blore 12:30, Charlotte Meiring 12:45.

Personal bests were recorded by Stacey Yaroslavceff by 8 seconds, Lauren Reid by 1:18 and Adam Skelton by 17 seconds.

A congratulations to the clubs Jack Daintith who has Qualified and been selected in the NSW team to compete at the Australian Half Marathon Championships on the 14th August at the Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival. We wish Jack the best of luck and hope he goes well in the event.

This Sunday’s run is at Endeavour Oval, followed by a BBQ.  We hope to see as many members there as possible. Wednesday’s run will commence at 4:35pm followed by a mass start at 4:45 and please be finished by 5:30pm.
