Snow. And Stagecoach Road. What a super Sunday! Well done to all those members who saw the snow on Sunday morning and ran anyway, a dedicated effort in 2 degrees. It must have been cold as our dedicated timekeeper was overheard to say he was going to monitor the times from the car, a very rare statement indeed. Michael wasn’t the only one waiting in the car for the finishers as some keen members seemed determined to shake thoughts of Bondi Beach out of their minds by completing the challenging new 12km option. Well done all.

If the sun didn’t thoroughly melt the snow by Wednesday, Mitch Williamson’s scorching pace sure did! Mitch took the win in a hot 8.58. Rikky Bangert and Iain McLean took 2nd and 3rd. Alicia Ross led the females home in 11.58 ahead of Carissa Hickey and Estelle Dean. PBs to Kinisha Roweth, Jack Dean, Rhonda Jones, Kim Anlezark, Luisa Sims and Nick Carney. A reminder to some members to keep left on Wednesdays, especially on those bridges JC.
