Last Sunday, it was a beautiful humid morning for 48 members to arrive at CSU. These members completed the 1.9km circuit anywhere from 1 to 6 times.

The leading club members in each distance were:

1.9km
Female – Claire Blair 10:53, Paige Alexander 18:25.

Male – Brian Penrose 54:18.

3.8km
Female – Sally Postma 25:42, Merissa Horne 27:02, Justine Neville 34:15.
Male – Duncan Blair 21:18, Craig Penrose 25:39, Gary Taylor 26:01.

5.7km
Female – Leanne Corcoran 27:40, Kim Roweth 33:54, Rosemary Elkington 41:28.

Male – Hugh Daintith 29:59, Maxwell Horne 30:28, Eddie Feeney 30:44.

7.6km
Female – Alicia Anlezark 41:58, Kinisha Roweth 44:29, Alison Spurway 45:23.

Male – Peter Finlay 30:45, Mark Thomas 34:55, Russell Tym 47:33.

9.5km
Female – Kim Jarvis 1:02:42, Rhonda Jones 1:09:08.

Male – Gareth Thomas 51:52, Mike Cooper 52:36, Anthony Daintith 58:37.

11.4km

Male – Jack Daintith 45:31, Daryl Roweth 1:06:32.

 

On the warm Wednesday evening, 51 members headed to Elephant Park for a run or walk completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. Top three males were Peter Finlay 10:11, Jack Daintith 10:28 and Mark Thomas 11:42. Completing the top three ladies were Leanne Corcoran 12:00, Nicola Blore 13:16 and Alicia Anlezark 13:49.

Personal bests were recorded this week by Sue Klose 57 secs.

Congratulations to our achievement medal receiver this week: Samantha Pluymers 75 club runs and Alicia Anlezark 200 club runs.

This Sunday’s run is location is Favell Road, with the start between 8:30am and 9am. The distances marked out will be 3km, 5.8km, 8.1km and 11.2km. For those who haven’t done this run before it is a gravel road with a few little pinches. Please check the website for more course information. Safety warning for snakes if it is a warm morning.

Wednesday runs will commence at 4pm and you can run any time after that as long as you are finished by 5:30pm.
