Probably our biggest ever turnout of members of the scenic Stagecoach Road course. Great to see the Kitto family back for the weekend.

Well done to one of our newest members Richard Hogg who was the handicap winner (running the 12k in a great time of 1.09.44).

Pocket rocket Lucy Jurd was the first lady home in a time of 11:53 just ahead of Simone Fogarty (12.00) and Claire Gates in third position (14:07). Cjay Fogarty tore up the bitumen in a time of 9.42 ahead of Brian Penrose and Lachlan Irwin.

Not to be outdone by her younger sister, Milla Jurd was the fastest female home on a great time of 15.11, just ahead of Molly Dean 15.21 and Kelly Jurd 19.05. Fred Bangert is starting to string together some strong results been first home in the men in 13.46, well clear of the trio Lachie Ross, Hugh Corcoran and Blake Gleeson.

Team Dean was back in force with Jessie Dean running 25.08, ahead of Kelly Gleeson 27.42 and Claire Blair 29.58. The Blair family have been firing lately with great improvement each week! Rikky Bangert was very impressive with a time of 20.42, well clear of Hugh Daintith 23.17 and Alex Irwin 27.17 starting to string some good runs together.

Kate Thornton was first lady home in the 8k in a great time of 47.55 just ahead of Belinda McCauley in second position 49.41. Belinda and Andrew McCauley have been running well and taking on the longer distances with ease. Matt Dean turning back the clock with a solid 40.37 ahead to Greg Shapter and new member Brenton Anthony. Well done to youngsters George Hogg and Flynn Thornton for challenging yourselves again with the longer distance.

Iain McLean is in great form and looks set for a fantastic UTA next week finishing first 53.21. Then a little log jam with Tim Murphy (55.08) just edging out Anthony Daintith (55.17) and Leanne Corcoran (55.22). Well done to Alicia Ross second lady home ahead of Ursh Wilson. Great effort to everyone that did the challenging longer distance.

Cooler conditions and an earlier start time greeted 83 members on Wednesday afternoon. Welcome to new members Chris Harrington, James West, Jeremy Maddison, Sam Gosper who ran their first run with the club today. Special mention to Chris who ran 9:25.

Claire Gates was the handicap winner today who ran 19:32 for the 3k.

Tomorrow morning, we have our next trail run at Kinross Forest (6:45am for 7:00am start). Two distances on offer 6.6k and 14k – don’t forget your mandatory equipment. The 9am run is at Gosling Creek with 2.3k, 4.6k , 8k and 11.5k distance options.
