EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 15th October 2022

Last Sunday run was planned for Berrilee Forest but due to the weather conditions and potential for injury and the parking issues, Sunday’s run was moved to Spring Creek Dam. 53 members attended this run

For our usual Wednesday run 27 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. Top three men were Maxwell Horne 11:46, Nicholas Thomas 12:36 and Luke Hockey 12:56. The top three women were Isobel Curran 13:43, Jessica Curran 14:46 and Kinisha Roweth 15:00.

Achievement Medals this week were awarded to Luke Hockey with 50 runs, Sally Postma with 50 runs and Angela and Michael Kauter with 25 runs.

A Reminder to all members that membership is open as of the 1st October and for the general public the time is now to join the Orange Runners Club to get amongst the fun and come out and stretch those legs. Now is the time to join the Orange Runners Club as membership is only $15. We encourage everyone to join and come along.

This Sunday’s run is Stagecoach Road, this is a combo of bitumen and gravel/dirt road and is a hilly course. There is a pinch climb near the start and a steep decent towards the end of this run. Members will have the choice of 2km,3km, 5km, 8km or 12km.
