For our usual Wednesday run 58 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. Top three men were Jack Daintith 9:58, Mark Thomas 11:31 and Luke Hockey 11:37. The top three women were Isobel Curran 12:26, Jessica Curran 13:54 and Ayako Kusui 14:00.

Personnel bests were recorded by Cathy Gutterson by 1 minute and 39 seconds.

On Sunday the 13th November several members attended the Carcoar Cup. This was a very successful event besides the fact that the weather was somewhat ordinary and most if not all runners got drenched at some point on the day. Members participated in the 10km and 21.1km events and some PB’s were achieved amongst the group. Congratulations to all members who ran both in the Carcoar cup and at Berrilee Forest, considering the weather was awful.

The Orange Runners Club End of Year party is nearly amongst us so we hope all members have had a chance to book in their place to come and enjoy the fun of being together and celebrating a successful year all round.

This Sunday’s run is at Clergate Public School, one of my personnel favorites. Members have a choice of 3, 5, 7.5 and a 10km course. This is a out and back course on mixed terrain of tarmac and dirt/unsealed roads. The club welcomes all members and new members to join us here on Sunday.

Please continue to check the website, Facebook and watch your emails for more information on all our club activities and news.

Together we achieve individual goals.
