Last Sundays run was at Jack Brabham with a choice of 1 to 6 laps (1.75km each lap).
Presentations were made to Kelly Jurd (100 runs) and Denise Quinlan (400 runs). Also a presentation to Mike Cooper for winning his age category at the Great Volcanic Mountain Challenge.

Dave Craig was the first male home in 8:26 ahead of Brian Penrose and Lachlan Irwin. Well done to Denise Quinlan first lady to finish in 17.08 ahead of Liz Simpson.

It was keenly contested in the men with Hugh Corcoran 15.53 edging out Blake Gleeson and Jack Daintith. Linda Corben was first female 20.39 ahead of Simone Fogarty and Claire Blair.

Amber Rich beat allcomers today in a great time of 23.00. Milla Jurd was second and mum Kelly in third. Jamie Corcoran headed up the men 25.27, just ahead of Jai Anlezark and a very consistent Duncan Blair.

Karen Neal and Kelly Gleeson couldn’t be separated today finishing 34.17 and progressively got faster each lap – very impressive! Alex Irwin on the comeback was 3rd over the line in 36.53.

Mitch Essex was first in a time of 39.21, ahead of Billy Fairgrieve 53.52 and Anna Daintith 57.18.

Sam Harma 41.44 and Anthony Daintith 44.20 both slipped under the previous course record for Jack Brabham, Leanne Corcoran smashed her previous course record by 5 minutes down to 46.00. Carissa Hickey on a long run day was second ahead of Alicia Anlezark.

Beautiful running conditions greeted members at Elephant Park on Wednesday afternoon. Congratulations to Duncan Blair who was the handicap winner today with a time of 13.26 (PB). Welcome to the club Estell Jamieson who ran her first run.
