Last Sunday we had 57 runners turn up for the thoroughly enjoyable big loop around Elephant Park. It was a warm morning out and although a few clouds hung about they didn’t deter anyone.

The leading runners over the distances were:
1.6km – Female – Judy Tarleton 13:01, Claire Anlezark 13:28, Denise Quinlan 15:48.
Male – Mike Cooper 7:03, Michael Sharp 7:47, Simon Lun 7:58.
3.2km – Female – Claire Gates 18:04, Sally Postma 18:38, Michelle Whiteley 19:25.
Male – Logan Whiteley 14:21, Gary Taylor 18:33, Jai Anlezark 19:29.
4.8km – Female – Alicia Anlezark 24:27, Kim Roweth 31:05, Julie Hudson 32:39.
Male – Hugh Daintith 21:42, Michael O’Mara 31:49, John Hannan 39:37.
6.4km – Female – Jess Pooley 31:20, Anna Daintith 45:22, Lynn O’Mara 50:44.
Male – Steven Wensley 34:26, Bill Fairgrieve 37:43, Daniel Wallace 37:44.
8km – Female – Karren Skelton 53:32.
Male – Jack Taylor 33:55, Harvey Gaynor 45:35, Russell Tym 49:44.
9.6km – Female – Leanne Corcoran 41:18, Ayako Kusui 45:19, Jane Fairgrieve 1:00:17.
Male – Sam Harma 41:15, Daryl Roweth 43:53, Peter Hyde 45:44.

Wednesday afternoon at Elephant Park gave us some peace in the rush before Christmas. 44 starters completed one, two or three laps with the fastest runners over three laps being Peter Finlay 10:30 and Bec Davis 13:47. Hot on Peter’s heels were Iain McLean 11:20 and Brad Simmons 11:24. Completing the top three ladies were Alicia Anlezark 14:50 and Karen Mudge 15:07.

This Sunday’s run (27 December) is at Bargwanna Road.
