EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 28th October 2023

Congratulations to the ORC members who competed at last weekend’s iconic Panorama Punish in Bathurst which saw almost 800 runners tackle the mountain.
For our regular Sunday run, 69 members ran and walked our Botanic Gardens course choosing 1-6 laps of the 1.6km loop.

The fastest in each distance were:

Congratulations to Nick Thomas and Nathan Sutherland who broke long standing course records at Botanic Gardens.

54 members attended this week’s Wednesday run.
The top three men were Ben Sullivan 11:09, Nicholas Thomas 11:12, Hugh Daintith 11:43.
The top three women were Sue Dean 13:21, Alicia Anlezark 14:23, Kim Roweth 14:49.

Personal bests were achieved by Ben Sullivan 11:09 (11 seconds), Kim Roweth 14:49 (35 seconds), Peter Shaw 15:38 (29 seconds) and Rhonda Jones 17:14 (5 seconds).

Tomorrow’s run is at Gosling Creek where members can choose from distances of 2.3km, 4.6km, 8km or 11.6km.

Together we achieve individual goals.
