Last Sunday, Orange Runners Club had its weekend run at Endeavour Oval, where 79 members in attendance had a choice of 1 to 3 laps of a flatter 2.55km course around Moulder Park and its environs. The first 3 finishers over the respective distances are as follows:

1 lap – Logan Whiteley (12:10), Cameron Ross (12:18), and Connor Whiteley (12:45).  2 laps – Adam Reeves (21:45), Amber Rich (22:10), and Hugh Daintith (24:59). 3 laps – Brad Simmons (31:26), Meg Reeves (32:20), and Noel Annett (33:47). Rowan Hannan was declared the winner. Fastest lap of the day was Brad Simmons (10:21). Congratulations to all who participated.

The Wednesday afternoon Elephant Park 2.9k handicap event saw 22 competitors take part in cold and damp conditions. The fastest men were Adam Reeves (11:58), Jack Daintith (12:01) and Lachlan Ross (12:01). The fastest ladies were Ursula Wilson (12:34), Ella Lamrock (12:50) and Kim Jarvis (15:46). A PB was recorded by Toby Buckland (1:10). Well done to all who took part in difficult conditions.

This Sunday sees the Club starting off at Byng Church for the Favell Road run, with a choice of 3k, 5.8k, 8.1k and 11.1k routes on offer on a hilly, unsealed yet very scenic course. Members should allow for extra travel time due to the location. This event will commence at 9am.
