EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 3rd June 2023

We had a great turn out last Sunday at Lake Canobolas with 83 runners and walkers enjoying the crisp but clear conditions. They had the choice of 1 – 4 laps of the 2.5km course.
The fastest in each distance were:

For this week’s Wednesday run 69 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. The top three men were Peter Finlay 10:30, Danny Boulton 10:42 and Mark Thomas 11:47. The top three women were Nicola Blore 12:37, Isobel Curran 13:21 and Alicia Anelzark 14:33.
3km Personal Bests were achieved by Luke Peterson 12:23 (1 minute 2 seconds), Terry Clark 14:25 (59 seconds), Carey Colgan 16:03 (35 seconds) and Rhonda Jones 17:30 (3 seconds).
Achievement medals were awarded to Ashton Roach with 25 runs, Madelein Barnard with 25 runs, Clara Hooper with 50 runs, Jannell Hooper with 50 runs, Catherine Player with 50 runs, Claire Gates with 300 runs and Rhonda Jones achieving 400 runs.
This Sunday’s run is at Shiralee – a popular course which is relatively flat where members can choose from 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12km.
