Orange Runners Club Weekly Wrap-Up – 25 May 2025
It was another strong week for Orange Runners Club, with members putting in the effort across both midweek and weekend runs.
Midweek Run – Wednesday 21 May | Elephant Park
Fifty-seven members joined us at Elephant Park for the Wednesday afternoon run. While there were no milestone medals this time, it was a solid session with plenty of consistent performances.
Top finishers over three laps included:
Men – Hugh Daintith (11:10), Oscar Blacklow (11:22), Henry Kay (11:42)
Women – Jessica Curran (13:13), Kinisha Roweth (13:39), Marley Beahan (14:08)
Weekend Run – Sunday 25 May | Endeavour Oval
Sunday saw 101 members take on the course at Endeavour Oval. Cool, clear conditions set the stage for a number of standout efforts – including several new course records.
Fraser Finlay was awarded an achievement medal for reaching 75 runs – well done, Fraser!
Course highlights included:
- 
Amber Rich clocked 12:02 in the Female 2.83km, now the second-fastest time on record. 
- 
Lucy Jurd broke the Female 5.66km course record with 23:45, surpassing a time that had stood since April 2021. 
- 
Nathan Sutherland shaved nearly three minutes off his own 11.32km course record, finishing in 40:53.
