EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 23rd July 2022

Last Sunday 55 members attended our run at Endeavour Oval. This was a lap course of 2.8km and members had the choice of 1-4 laps. It was. Beautiful morning to be out and about with the sun shining.

The fastest in each distance were:

2.8km

Female – Milla Jurd 12:43, Lucy Jurd 13:15, Leanne Corcoran 13:37
Male – Trevor Jones 22:27, Brian Penrose 27:19, John Moss 30:15

5.7km
Female – Nicola Blore 26:51, Isobel Curran 27:40, Jannell Hooper 29:33
Male – Luke Hockey 23:40, Iain McLean 24:05, Hugh Daintith 27:58

8.5km
Female – Claire Gates 46:44, Rhonda Jones 58:18
Male – Richard Hogg 48:52

11.3km
Female – Luisa Sims 1:04:33, Kim Jarvis 1:10:31
Male – Maxwell Horne 54:09, Eddie Feeney 56:25, William Robinson 1:00:38

For our usual Wednesday run 42 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. Top three males were Jack Daintith 9:59, Peter Finlay 10:22, Cameron Ross 11:31. The top three females were Charlotte Meiring 12:27, Claire Gates 14:08, Jannell Hooper 14:34.

Personal bests were recorded by Adam Skelton by 22 seconds and Jannell Hooper by 5 seconds.

Achievement Medals were awarded to Isobel Curran with 25 runs.

This Sunday’s run is at Spring Creek Dam.  Please ensure all attending members park to the side of the road and be cautious of oncoming traffic. Wednesday’s run will commence at 4:35pm followed by a mass start at 4:45 and please be finished by 5:30pm.
