Sir Jack Brabham Oval was the centre of sport in Orange on Sunday, with the 87 members dodging bike riders and cricket balls to complete their laps of the old Gnoo Blas course. Kate Thornton was the winner.

Well done to those 11 members that headed out to Fourth Crossing for the trail run on Sunday. Meg Reeves and Tim Murphy were the first home in the 13.3 kms

75 members were at Elephant Park on Wednesday. Kim Jarvis’ amazing achievement of 1400 runs was recognised however Kim may have missed out on a trophy this year by being in Summer Bay instead of at Sunday’s run.  Lovely to see former dedicated ORC member Erika Bunker join us for a run on Wednesday. Great to see you Erika and come again!

Congratulations to President Renai for her 3km PB on Wednesday. All that F45 and RPM must be paying off as el Presidente got her time down to a neat 15.07. Kate Thornton, Edward MacLean and Tim Murphy also achieved PBs. Patrick Hakkinen was the winner.

A call to members and all runners and walkers in Orange – to register for the main event on the ORC calendar – the Orange Running Festival! Don’t forget to register on the website asap as some events do have maximum places available. Or if you are not running, are you able to volunteer? If so talk to the man Stew Vidler who would love you to help on the Saturday or Sunday.

Sunday’s run is the ever popular Berilee Road at 9am. Should be hot again so don’t forget to hydrate and slap on a hat and sunscreen as it will be warm by the time we finish.
