Well done to those that also completed the virtual trail run over the last week.
We are back to slightly normal runs, with rules though. You must show proof of being fully vaccinated before you can participate, and you must use the QR code and check in. Don’t forget your timing chip, if you can remember where it is!
This meant we were able to have members at Elephant Park on Wednesday afternoon. With the break we gave the track or the maintenance that has been done, we are back to our normal 3 lap course. We had 53 fully vaxxed members turn up and give it their best shot after the break. Top three males were Jack Daintith 9:56, Luke Hockey 10:16 and Peter Finlay 10:18. Completing the top three ladies were Leanne Corcoran 12:29, Nicola Blore 12:45 and Alicia Anlezark 13:25.
We only had one PB this week; Will Robinson improving by 1 min 26 secs taking his time down to 13:27.
Congratulations to our achievement medal receivers this week: Jane Fairgrieve 1200 runs, Bill Fairgrieve 1300 runs, Judy Tarleton 700 runs and Nicola Blore 50 runs.
This Sunday’s run is at the therapeutic Pinnacle with the start between 8:30am and 9am. With the distances still to be approved, check with Michael when you arrive on Sunday. Wednesday runs will commence at 4pm and you can run anytime after that as long as you are finished by 5:30pm.
