EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 24th September 2022

Last Sunday 38 members attended our Sunday run at Hiney Road. This was a out and back course mostly on dirt roads. A lovely run through the countryside for all those who attended.

The fastest in each distance were:

Female – Fiona Littlejohn 20:00, Denise Quinlan 24:42, Emily Blore 27:15
Male – Freddie Littlejohn 19:58, Albert Littlejohn 19:59, John Moss 24:50

Female – Kinisha Roweth 25:20, Kim Roweth 27:19, Kim Jarvis 28:01
Male – Mark Thomas 23:01, Gary Taylor 30:23, Greg Shapter 34:39

Female – Alicia Anlezark 40:11, Karren Skelton 59:03, Anna Daintith 1:04:39
Male – Hugh Daintith 37:46, Clive Blore 39:44, Tony Fitzpatrick 40:41

Female – Nicola Blore 50:33, Jannell Hooper 52:49, Luisa Sims 53:48
Male – Maxwell Horne 44:06, Adam Skelton 52:49, Mike Cooper 54:31

For our usual Wednesday run 42 members attended Elephant Park completing 1, 2 or 3 laps. Top three men were Luke Hockey 10:26, Jack Daintith 10:52, Phil Cranney 11:48. The top three women were Charlotte Meiring 11:48, Claire Gates 13:28, Alicia Anlezark 13:38.

Personal bests were achieved by Adam Skelton by 48 seconds and Sharyn Mitselburg by 1 second.

A reminder to all members that Wednesdays run at elephant park has been adjusted to 5pm start time and please be finished by 5:45pm.

This Sunday’s run is at Bargwanna Road. This run will be a unique one as it will be a “no watch run”, where members will be asked to guess there expected finish time for their chosen distance and the closest person to their guessed time will be rewarded.
