EDITORIAL REPORT FOR CWD Saturday 27th August 2022

By Chris Clough

Was it the beautiful Sunday morning weather, or the lure of morning tea goodies being sold by the Clergate P&C, that brought 50 plus members out for the Clergate Club run?

Unfortunately, from what I hear, I missed a great morning of running / walking and refreshments. The club also made a small donation to the Clergate P&C.

On another soggy track on Wednesday at Elephant Park 49 members tackled, what is becoming an all too familiar track and weather condition, to get their walk or run in. This week Achievement Medals were awarded to Amy Robinson & Sue Klose with 50 runs each.

This Sunday’s club run has been changed due to the wet conditions to Gosling Creek, with the regular distances of 2.3km, 4.6km, 8km & 11.6km.

As well we will have some members travelling to Dubbo zoo to compete in one of the various distances  at the Dubbo Stampede.

Please continue to check the website, Facebook and watch your emails for more information on all our club activities and news. Together we achieve individual goals.
