On Sunday a smaller crew of 64 runners turned out for the Sunday run at Bargwanna Road.  Tony Fitzpatrick was recognised before the start for recently achieving his four hundredth run with the club.

To the running and fast out of the blocks, Jack Daintith (11:55), led the way to be first across the line over the 3km distance. He finished clear of Noah Lamrock (13:19) and Anthony Daintith (16:01). Of the ladies, Alison Spurway (16:30) got to the finish mat the quickest as she beat home the consistent Tanya Connolly (16:58), while Monique Connolly (18:31) got the third spot. Doing the 5km, Leanne Corcoran (22:03) powered to the finish line securing the fastest time of all.

Karen Neal (25:16) ran into second place ahead of Lily Craig (26:04). One of our newer members Yolanda Zhao ran (32:47) for the 5km run to be awarded the overall winner on the day. For the guys Paul Centofanti (23:05) was the fastest on the day in a competitive field as Tony Fitzpatrick (23:47), David Craig (24:24) and Hugh Daintith (24:29) all had impressive runs to lead the chase group.

In the 10km run Iain McLean and Mitch Essex (43:28) were in a league of their own as they finished with identical times, while Daryl Roweth (48:14) was the next to finish. Ursula Wilson (48:44) was the pace setter for the ladies, while Alicia Ross (51:50) was next best and Kim Jarvis (59:53) and Donna Read (59:59) were close together in the battle for third spot.

Last weekend Meg and Adam Reeves competed in the 4 Peaks Bright Alpine Climb, which includes:
Sat 31/10/15   Mystic Hill 11km ( 915m )
Sun 01/11/15   Mt Feathertop 12km ( 1922m )
Mon 02/11/15  Mt Hotham  15km  ( 1861m )
Tue  03/11/15  Mt Buffalo 10.6km  ( 1723m )
Meg completed these 4 stages in a staggering Total time of 4hr 20min 37sec, to be the first lady finisher and obviously first in her age group ( 30-39 ). This is an outstanding achievement considering the quality trail runners that finished behind her.

On a wet Wednesday only the 18 diehards turned out for the run with Michael Sharp and Graham Fahy also braving the conditions to organise and do the timing.

Mitchell Cooper (11:16) was the fastest and overall winner with a 22 second Personal Best. Liz Simpson ran an (11:30) to be the fastest lady. Sam Wilson also secured a 13 second PB and Anthony Wilson an 8 second PB.

Don’t forget the Christmas party and presentation coming up on Saturday November 28 at the Nashdale hall starting at 3pm. Cost is $5 each or $10 per family. Put your names down in the blue book that is at each upcoming run and get your money in.

This weekend the club run is at Lake Canobolas and there is also a little event, down the road at Carcoar that a number of members will be competing at.
